Projects/Wikisource

Discussion is taking place in French here Projets/Wikisource. There is already a Canadian Wikisource, and it is called Wikilivres. This project was started in 2006, and was managed by Yann alone until recently. Now Pathoschild has helped to upgrade and maintain the site. It is hosted by iWeb in Montréal. The objective is to host texts and multimedia files which may not be hosted elsewhere, notably on Wikisource and Wikimedia Commons, due to copyright restrictions. The project hosts documents in several languages: Chinese, Czech, French, English, German, Russian, Spanish and a few others (French, English, and Russian being the main languages).

There are 2 main issues:

1. Legal responsibility;
2. Financial responsibility.
