Wikimedia Canada at the 2021 WikiConference Francophone
On November 20th and 21st, the WikiConference Francophone 2021 was held online, thanks to Wikimedia Tunisia and Wikimedia France. Wikimedia Canada was present to celebrate these two days of sharing between French-speaking Wikimedians.
Two members of our Board of Directors, Michael David Miller, Vice President, and Ha-Loan Phan, Secretary, presented Wikimedia Canada: A Decade of Projects, Partnerships and Activities (in French). Review their presentation and see the links of interest at the end of this article.
We then highlight the constitution of WikiFranca, a non-profit association, whose mission is to foster francophone cooperation within the Wikimedia movement.
Our warmest congratulations to the elected members of the first board of directors of WikiFranca:
Michael David MILLER (Wikimedia Canada)
Florence Devouard (Les sans pagEs)
Éliane Dominique Yao Sigan (Wikimedia Côte d’Ivoire)
Mahuton Bienvenu POSSOUPE (Wikimedia Benin)
Georges Fodouop (Wikimedia Cameroon)
Congratulations to all the participants and see you next year!
