WikiConvention francophone 2024 – the second wave of scholarships is open!
As announced in Abidjan last September, the 2024 edition of the WikiConvention francophone will be held in Quebec City. The convention will take place on November 2 and 3, 2024, preceded by two days of pre-conferences on October 31 and November 1.
Scholarship applications are divided into two rounds:
– a first round only for those requiring a visa to attend the conference. This wave was closed last December and procedures are ongoing. It is no longer possible to apply for a scholarship if you need a visa.
– a second round for those who do not require a visa, but simply an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA).
To find out whether you need a visa or an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA), please consult the Government of Canada tool.
Scholarship applications for people who do not need a visa to attend the conference:
– Scholarship applications open: March 1, 2024
– Application deadline: March 31, 2024
– Scholarship processing dates: April 2024
– Applicants notified of final decisions: May 2024
Conditions, selection criteria and application forms are available on the Meta Wiki.
Scholarship applications for people who only need an ETA to attend the conference are open until March 31, 2024! Apply now.
